"The sunset sail was a genuinely lovely way to spend an anniversary. The crew were calm and attentive without hovering, which is exactly what you want. The platter was better than we expected and the timing around sunset was perfect. We'll be back for the day charter next."

"We took 10 people out for a friend's 40th birthday on the day charter. Lazarus Island was a complete surprise — none of us had been there before even though we've lived in Singapore for years. The snorkelling conditions were great and the crew handled a large group effortlessly. Very well organised."

"The expedition was something we had been wanting to do for a while. Three days felt like the right amount — long enough to properly disconnect but not overwhelming. Daniel's reef walks were a highlight; he clearly enjoys what he does and that shows. The food was genuinely good throughout, which we hadn't quite expected."

"Brought the whole family — two kids, my parents, and four adults. The crew took care of everything. My father-in-law, who is a bit cautious about boats, was immediately at ease. What stood out was how organised the pre-departure process was. We knew exactly what to expect and where to go."

"Our team offsite on the coastal charter was a much better idea than another hotel meeting room. Everyone relaxed within 20 minutes of leaving harbour. Reza is a great skipper — he has a natural way of making people comfortable. The stop at Lazarus Island rounded off a really good day."

"The expedition exceeded what I hoped for. Anchoring off Kusu Island on the second evening with no other vessels nearby — that alone was worth it. The cook used fresh produce every day which made a difference. Siti was very helpful with the booking process and answered all our questions promptly."

Stories from the Water
CASE STUDY — FAMILY DAY CHARTER
The Challenge
A family of eight — including a 70-year-old grandmother and two children under ten — wanted an experience on the water that would be comfortable for everyone, not just the adventurous members.
The Approach
We recommended the Coastal Day Charter with a morning departure to avoid afternoon heat. The crew prepared shaded areas and a gentler route with calm conditions. Life jackets were fitted before departure, and the pace was calm throughout.
The Outcome
The grandmother described the Lazarus Island stop as "the most beautiful place she'd visited in Singapore." The family has since booked a second charter for the following year. The children asked to come back on the expedition.
CASE STUDY — CORPORATE TEAM DAY
The Challenge
A 10-person team from a Raffles Place-based firm wanted an offsite that would feel meaningfully different from a hotel function room — something that would encourage real conversation and relaxation.
The Approach
A Coastal Day Charter with a tailored lunch menu was organised. The morning was spent sailing south, with an island stop in the early afternoon for swimming. No agenda, no presentations — just time on the water.
The Outcome
The team leader described it as the most effective team day they had run in three years. Several members said they felt more at ease speaking openly on the water than they ever had in a meeting room. The group has re-booked for the following quarter.
CASE STUDY — ANNIVERSARY EXPEDITION
The Challenge
A couple celebrating a significant wedding anniversary wanted something beyond a restaurant or hotel — something that would create a lasting memory and a genuine sense of being somewhere different.
The Approach
The Southern Islands Expedition was tailored around their schedule. The cook prepared a special dinner on the second evening at anchor, and the crew gave the couple space to enjoy their time without interruption while remaining available when needed.
The Outcome
They described the second evening at anchor as "unlike anything we had experienced in 20 years of living in Singapore." The privacy, the quiet, and the food all contributed to an experience they said they would not have found anywhere else.
